Some of the best trip planning happens the night before, spread across a map with a cup of coffee going cold. Releases 1.7.0 and 1.8.0 give you more ways to chart that course, and more ways to bring your crew along once you’re actually out there.
Chart your course on land and water
Route planning is now fully available for every No Roads+ adventurer. Land route planning graduated out of Early Access with 1.7.0, and marine route planning followed with 1.8.0, giving you the same multi-point planning tools whether you’re headed down a trail or out on the water.
Multi-Point Routes: Build your route stop by stop, whether you’re plotting a day on backroads or a run along the coast.
Marine-Ready Planning: Chart a course on marine charts with routes that suggest paths between points, routing toward navigable water when it makes sense.
Open Route Planning from the map to see your whole journey laid out before you ever leave the driveway.

Ride together with Group Rides
Adventures are better with company, and Group Rides makes it easier to keep your crew connected in real time. Invite friends to a shared ride and see everyone’s position on the map as you go.
Live Tracking: Watch your group move together on the map, so nobody gets left behind on a split at the trailhead.
Automatic Recording: Your ride records itself in the background, and you decide whether to save or discard it once you’re done.
Group Rides is currently in Early Access as part of our No Roads+ Early Access program. Head to Settings to opt in, and keep in mind Early Access features are still being refined, so save anything important before you leave the program.

Meet NavCircle
Your Friends tab has a new name and a bit more room to grow: it’s now called NavCircle. You’ll find the same friends and friend requests you always have, right where you left them.
Share your discoveries with a link
Found a can’t-miss viewpoint or a perfect put-in spot? Deep link sharing lets you send trails, POIs, tracks, and waypoints straight to a friend’s phone. Tap the link, and it opens directly in No Roads.
More coverage, fewer hiccups
We’ve expanded both trail and marine coverage across multiple regions, so there’s more of the map to explore. iOS adventurers recording multi-segment tracks will notice smoother handling of longer, more complex outings, and we’ve tightened up subscription management, friend request handling, and account creation along the way.
What is No Roads+?
No Roads+ is our premium subscription for adventurers who want more: live weather overlays, detailed map layers, friend tracking, route planning, and Early Access to features like Group Rides. Core features, including trail maps, offline access, waypoints, and track recording, remain completely free.
